lmao.
While I dont want a 1 child policy, I do think you should have to pass some form of test and have good financials before you have kids. I know there is no way to make that happen.

What? It might sound insane, but so did landing on the moon and rockets being sent into space. Look how all that ended up.
I mean stuff like this is possible.

I actually have to agree with you to some extent numonex.
as harsh as it is, something drastic has to be done i fear, and soon. chances are people won't like it but it's the price we pay for poking everything that moves and octomom...
I liked the nuke suggestion though!

There should be a cultural one child policy. Encourage people not to have too many children. Tell them about the benefits of having one child (more money, focused on one child's success, less stress, eco reasons, etc). Also, education about sex in general and birth control in countries that lack it.
Anyway, I agree it's getting too crowded and out of hand. Personally, I don't even know if I will have a child. Ask me again in 9-10 years.
Two world wars, extreme religious political ideologies(Communism, Fascism and Nazis) plagued the 20th century and divided the world into two halves East and West for most of the 20th century. Huge technological advancement during 20th century especially after World War 2.
21st century Global terrorism and endless war on everything. Immigration is a major worldwide problem. Global warming, climate change and depletion of resources. Rise of totalitarian Chinese regime. Continued technological advancement.
Something big will happen in the 21st century. Just you all wait and see.

WW3: China v world, with the growing dependance on China for global product, all china has to do is stock pile on metal supplies from Australia, continue buying up communications in the US and build more and more sustainable energy resources and mass an army of 50-100 million strong. Then they can halt exports to the world. Use there massive manu power to manu weapons, Arm millions more in an civilan army. and Invade everyone. the global ecomony will be totally f, and the major part of the war will be the pacific wars where china will try to hold off global navies from supplying Australia, which China will try to take over to open up the large amounts of coal, iron and unrainum etc. While also battleing it out with India who would be also fighting agaisnt pakistan. An Russia will hold up for an duration and hold peace treaty only to mass an army with european counterparts and invade from the north, india from the South west, and coalition forces including the US will invade from the south.
Or the other significant event of pakistan launches nukes at india, india follows, Middle east panic and try to nuke Israel, US and Israel will launch nukes at the middle east, North Korea will nuke Japan.
Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

| mchaza said: well Europe already have an cultural one child policy, same with japan. the rate Japan is at is that by 2100 there population will halve from what they have now. But i agree there are too much people and an one child policy will fail so an much more drastic solution would be depopulation by extreme radical War. Yet 1 massive war will reduce population around 2-3 billion people and resources consumed will drop around 50-80% because of the war and will last around 20-30 years and so the environments will recover in areas due to halt in resource consumption. Or the even more extreme and use biological weapons against countires that are poor and unsustainable. But by the time we all die off an our grand children are alive they are completely F***ed. if nothing drastic happens |
Yes, your solution is much better and more humane.
