Well people are calling Crysis the new graphics king or atleast very close to Sony's first party games, yet wait a minute...it's a multiplat game??

So whats Sony going to do about this, the PS3 has always been known as the graphics king because of the power of the PS3, yet the Cryengine has produce very impressive graphics not only on the PS3 but the X360. So could we see Sony really forcing developers now to get as much as they can out of the PS3. So far we know there's plenty of juice left into it.

Not to mention the next gen coming around the corner and NGP games looking close to PS3 graphics, could we soon see a PS3 game that will really blow everything out of the water?

Uncharted 3.

We still haven't seem an Xbox 360 game built using all the new MS tools and dev kits with extra memory. We'll start seeing those games at the end of this year. Next year should see a huge graphical upgrade on the Xbox 360 and the PS3 should see developers continue to squeeze joice out of it as well.

Crisis 2 is just the start. We can expect even better looking games next year and the year after that.

Why does reviews matter to PS3 fans so much?

It's on their system, I don't think they care. Sony are still the best at what they do and I doubt one multi-platform game that struggles to run on the systems it's on, is going to stop them from making better looking games in the future.

They have more significant issues to worry about and it's not like they can't still say that the best looking games are all on the PS3, which is true and is something that can't be said for the other consoles on the market.

I stop caring about graphics a long time ago, a good art design destroys any amount of pixels and polygons

Crysis may look the prettiest, but it don't run the prettiest. Plus its only one game. Ps3 has 3 top tier graphics games with U2/k3/GOW3 and soon to be U3
