Forza 4 will have a garage of 500 cars - including 80 manufacturers - will look ten times better and will include informative narration from Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson.

That's if statements used in a survey to measure fans' reaction to such features are anything to go by.

Sent to Kotaku by an "anonymous tipster", the survey in question asked for reaction to the following statements:

"By using Kinect for Xbox 360, racing fans can now use head tracking to peer into a corner or their voice to control the game menus and interface."

"For more casual players you can enjoy sitting or standing controller free and racing alongside your friends, simply by holding your hands at 10 and 2."

"[Forza 4 will be the] best looking game of the year with graphic fidelity 10 times better than the previous version, including new lighting and shading models."

The survey also mentions "an automotive world tour," which will "increase the variety of challenges and events you participate in" and a new no-assist expert mode.

500 cars from 80 different manufacturers were also tipped to feature as well as a Kinect control showroom complete with Jeremy Clarkson's voice going through car specs as you peer at the automotive machines.

According to Kotaku the survey also asked for fans' feelings on "an open-world Forza Motorsport game, which allows drivers to go anywhere on the open road, as opposed to closed-circuit racing."

Kinect head-tracking was confirmed for Forza 4 last month along with accurate simulation effects on tyres and road surfaces.

Microsoft stuck a deal linking the Forza franchise with Top Gear in September last year. It looks like the relationship is set to continue into the anticipated racing sequel.

oh please god open world, i loved that in midnight club and underground 2... I NEEDS IT AGAIN!!!

EDIT: maybe its not just the TopGear US that is included in this but probably meant to be more patriotical perhaps but TopGear UK will still have a showing perhaps.... 

Forza 4 will look better but not 10 times better. That makes me feel this is just a rumour. For the game too look 10 times better it needs to have a resolution of 7200p.

Or 10 times the no. of polygons which also seems impossible.

10 times does sound bit of a stretch.

I have to admit that Forza has stolen the racing sim crown from GT5 this gen.

10x better graphics are obviously not possible, but I think the talented guys at Turn10 might surprise us with Forza4.

It only means that it will look better. That hard to understand ?

Anyway I'm glad that they didn't go for 1000 cars :) Better light effects sounds good, new expert mode too.

Please expand on what Forza has actually done better to beat GT5?

Racing crown I can accept (opinion is opinion).

But Racing Sim? No way.

OP. Of course it will be better but 10 times? No.

I will love to see Turn 10 making circuits with real life proporcions and better driving physics.
