Forums - Sony - Beware of PSN email scam.

Semmed really fishy to me because of the SNEA part as well as those random as hell website names. Combining the fact it wants you to log in on those websites.

Note I have seen this pop up on other forums as well which is why I posted it here. It could be a big misunderstanding but if it is legit it shouldn't ever do that format again.

qriocity (curiosity) is sony's streaming service for music and video in the US...

Since I don't have the email anymore I can't post the link name. It wasn't from qriocity though. It was some random mumbo jumbo with a .net after it. Sony doesn't use .net

At least to me knowledge.

EDIT: Alright I have investigated it a little more and it seems it really is from Sony which is odd as balls. I've never seen them do that before and the email was really fishy to me. Well can't blame me for being careful :(

If a mod wishes it. They can close the thread.

Remember lasy year when people thought Firmware update 3.21 did nothing but take out the other OS. everyone though it was fake because it was releasing on April 1st? I think Sony should really stop releasing things on April 1st.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

This is Sony again trying to take control of your ps3s they don't give a shit if you bought them with your hard earn money because they are the devil and Sony takes whatever Sony wants to take, we should all give our money to geohot so he can save us, when he's back from vacation ofcourse

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Yeah it would seem very fishy. I just read that it's legit on another website before seeing this thread.

I got that email but simply ignored it. I did see it weird because of the link it had, didn't seem professional.

More importantly i'd like to know how a scammer got my email, and knows it's tied to PSN.

same exact train of thought I had. Not only that, but it's definitely my US account, and I haven't received any emails for my foreign psn accounts.
