I've bought 3 Gamecubes, 2 DS's, and 3 gameboy advances.

Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)

also with GC which mine has fallen so many times yet it hasnt broken this just shows that ninty builds great systems
3 NES 1 of each American release and a Famicom, 3 SNES 1 of each American release and a super famicom, 2 Genesis the original and then the "Sports edition"(it was just smaller) 2 Game boy pockets green and blue, 3 GBA original SP and micro. 2 N64 Watermelon color and original. 2 Game cubes Platinum and Black 2 PS2's original and an original design in silver and 2 DS's Original DS and Zelda edition DSlite. These were because I wanted too. On the other hand I've replaced the original playstation several times. I had 2 original Playstations 1 "Turboshock" and a PSone. Edit: buying multiple doesn't mean I mistreat them they're my babies and I still own each and every one of them and they all work just fine, except for the original Playstation and my original PS2 seems to be dieing it's gotten very loud.
2 N64s, but the second was only because the first got destroyed when a water pipe broke while we were on vacation.
3 GCs, 2nd was because the optical drive failed, the third was because I moved out of my parents house.
I've come extremely close to buying a second PS2, because the first one i bought used and it doesn't work any more.

Gamecube- my little bro kicked the crap at our origanal one...
Gameboy Advance- upgraded to SP
I have been pretty lucky with consoles-
I have an old bulky piece of junk PS2 but it works pretty good still
psn- tokila
add me, the more the merrier.
2 ps2's and that is it
I know it is amazing I am still on my 1st 360(knock on wood)
This thread brings up an interesting question.... Install base... What was it really in the last couple of generations? A lot of hardware dies and goes away only to be replaced by a new one yet "install base" would say that is two consoles. To answer the OP:
3 DS lites -- 3 family members...
3 PS2s over several years. Two died. Third one still works.
2 Sega Genesis systems. Roomate snagged my first one.
2 Game Boys (Advance and SP)
Everything else just one.... I've had my 360 and Wii both repaired once.
@ Gamerace
This was systems which I had more than one.
I have the Jag, the Lynx, the Bally Astrocade, the RCA Studio II, the Channel F, the MPF-1000.
No Pippin though. And no Vectrex -- I traded mine with a mulit-cart for a Dreamcast set up. I wasn't playing it, so I thought it was a good decision at the time. But I am really starting to regret it (where can I get a new Vectrex MC?)

PS -- And yes, I would be interested in talking with your brother.
I am Mario.I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble. Wii Friend Code: 1624 6601 1126 1492 NNID: Mike_INTV |
3 GBA's
First, bought Advance in 2002. Broke. GBA SP in 2005. Broke. Advance in 2007.
2 GameCube's
GameCube in 2003. Friend spilled pop all over it Summer '05. Manufacturer's unit ordered from Nintendo. Also 2005.
2 DS's
Nintendo DS in 2004. DS Lite 2006.
Other
Game Boy Pocket (1999)
Game Boy Color (2000)
Wii (2006)
Snesboy
Yes, though I've sold or traded most of them, then usually regretted it, so I repurchased another later.
I've only ever had two consoles fail, the first was my original NES that I shorted taking it apart to tinker with it, the second was my Wii, which Nintendo replaced.
Right now, we do have two N64s and three DSs in the house (two Lites and one Phat). No dupes of any of the others.
