No. I treat my consoles with the utmost care. I have yet to see one die on me. And with how well I treat them if one dies on me either; I would refuse to buy such a poorly made console, or the console would be so old that I couldn't buy it outside of ebay.

Yep : Nes , PSone , PS2 , PSP , GBA ... but they where all redesign ...

well the only systems i got more than one of is i got 4 gameboys( 1 mine then the other3 belong to my other 3 bros. so i dont know if that counts.) I also have two GBA but one is an sp, and i also lost both of them.

3 ps2s the laser went bad in the first 2.

bought a pal snes, sold that to get an ntsc one.
bought a jap saturn for £300, posted it away to get it region hacked and it got lost so paid about 30 quid for a s/h one.

Imported a Jap PS2 when they first came out, then got a PAL one when they were release 18 month later, after the laser died twice i was offered a cheap silver one so bought that instead. Got 2 more at the mo I should sell really so thats 5 working PS2 in the house at the mo and probably 15 broken ones Ive acquired over the years ive been doing repairs.

Bought an xbox, broke it messing about with it so got another, turned out i made a profit doing that as the new machine came with a samsung drive that were going for daft money on ebay.

Had a GBA, someone stole it, bought another, fitted an afterburner in it then sold it and got a GBA SP.

 Imported a DS phat and then a DS lite when they came out, Sold the DS phat on ebay this week and bought my GF a lite, so 3 DS

Had numourus other consoles ive bought cheap to sell on, but i wouldnt count those. The best one i bought that was was a cube with 6 games, one of them being a rare RPG which i sold on ebay for more than i paid for the whole package.

I'm surprised people have had to return their NES. I had a friend who actually threw his NES as hard as he could a couple times and the thing wouldn't break.
