Forums - Nintendo - Which classic Nintendo series could be resurrected for Wii or DS?

OH!! Golden Sun on both Wii and DS as well.

Also a lot of old brands like Balloon Fight / Ice Climbers would be perfect for Wii Ware titles.

Star Fox - Wifi (Think Star Fox meets Warhawk)

No thanks! I'd rather have a Star Fox game like in the good old SNES and N64 days rather than a complete Warhawk/Halo 3 rip-off. Star Fox used to be an on-rail arcade-like shooter and it should have stayed that way...

I don't know if you have noticed but the only good Star Fox game that has been released in years was Command... But even then, it's nothing like the Star Fox I used to know and like.

Please Krystal, get the f*** out of the Star Fox team, k thx bay! o_o

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

Donkey Kong

Ponch Out!

Star Fox (A real sequel to the N64 version, I still play it)

F-Zero

Ice Climbers DS. I want them to give it a "New Super Mario Brothers" type makeover, with 2D climbing in 3D graphics. Also add 4-player wi-fi and more varied levels. :)

You're missing Golden Sun. It's a Nintendo series.

You are missing Mario Baseball. Wii sequel is announced as well.

Kirby for Wii is not dead. That Nintendo Power UK article was just stupid. The guy didn't know it had ever even been in development, but it's still on Nintendo's release lists.

Pikmin Wii was announced to be in development back at E3.

Am I the only one who really misses Pilotwings? I mean, they could even tie it into the Wii franchise, like Wii Flight or something. The SNES one could almost be directly translated with some graphical upgrades and a Wii-mote interface. It already fits the series as far as style and aesthetics.

Also: Metroid has the most accurate genre tag on that list.

Really want to see:

Pikmin
Starfox
Yoshi
F-Zero
A proper Zelda on Wii
A Donkey Kong game
Mario Tennis could be really good too.

Oh gosh, no your right.  I should have said Star Fox 64 meets Warhawk.   I want a true sequel for Star Fox 64, but with Warhawk like multiplayer online action.  Star Fox would also be ideal for Nintendo to introduce a headset and Voice control.
