It'll never sell what it deserves sadly CGI, I'm interested but waiting for some more news to start being released before I get ahead of myself.

I know, this type of game really needs to be experienced. |
Yep. Mass Effect 2 was one of the best games I've ever played but you look at the sales of the Cod titles with their year on year bolt ons and there is just no justice comparing the numbers. Here's hoping it can gather some steam before release and has some good legs afterwards as this is one of those franchises that deserves a great reboot.

With an August release date, I expect sales to be surprisingly good. Mafia II did very well, and that game was mediocre, at best.

Deus Ex has always been more original than much of what's in it's genre. Then again, Deus Ex can claim to be it's own genre. |
Yes, it definitely is a highbred game and according to Wikipedia, Deus Ex Human Revolution incorporates four different genres of games, RPG, FPS, adventure, and "immersive simulation" these are some of my absolute favorite genres. It also indicated you can be stealthy through most of the game except bosses of course, which is something I really like to do in games when given the option:)
Let the EXCITEMENT commence!
this and the Witcher 2 are my most hyped games this year, can't wait!!

It's so true. No game really comes close to acheiving what the original Deus Ex achieved. I was reading in PC Gamer an interview with the devs observing the playtesters and how shocked they were at some of the paths that people used to complete an objective.
Apparently, for one mission, they had to get to a first floor room. The devs had spent ages trying to ensure their was multiple playthroughs. One guy said "sod it" and killed a load of people and piled the bodies up to allow him to jump up to the first floor window
Can PC fans stop ruining the thread.
OT:
Looks very nice, its one of the 3 games I'm buying on day 1 in the coming few months, the other 2 are Infamous 2 and LA Noire.
CGI you have made a thread for 2 of those games (LA Noire, Deus Ex)...but not for Infamous 2...for shame!!

that will just piss them off and encourage them and i don't apreciate the stereotyping don't blame it on "PC gamers" blame it on the actual people derailing the thread. Who are we talking about anyway? Other than dobby?

There will be more, they also ruined every Dragon Age 2 thread before its release. (but they were right about that one trololol).
I can't call those PC "fans" by the name I initially typed out to specify who they are as things like that get you banned on this site now.
