Which is why I am going to get rich by exploiting them.
I'm too old for this gaming shit.

My point was that IGNs criticism isn't exclusive to Nintendo. They've said dumb things about the other consoles as well, but the Nintendo fans on this site seem to think that the world is out to get Nintendo, when realistically they just pick and choose what they want to hate or classify as bias, just so they can have a weak argument to use when it comes to stupid things like console comparisons, sales comparisons or software comparisons. Saying 'IGN are biased and they hate Nintendo!' is easier than just admitting that the thing they like may have a few issues.
If you can link me to the articles your reffering to then that'd help, but it still doesn't change that it's just their opinion, it's not like Mario isn't being overused, Nintendo wasn't sucking from 2008 until 2010 in terms of releases, they haven't been lazy when it comes to creating a decent online store or game network and the lack of online in NSMBWii does make it less favorable (for the reviewer) when it's a game based around multi-player. I've also played some PSN/XBLA games that have looked better than NSMBWii and actually have an online system. If they said that Mario Galaxy was a horrible game, that full backwards compatability was a stupid feature, that it was hard to develop for or that it didn't have any good games at all, then this thread would make sense.
Besides the closing comments to the 3DS review, I didn't ready any of the IGN articles on the device and that's because I have more trust worthy sites that I visit for my reviews and articles. IGN aren't good at what they do, they make mistakes in plenty of their articles and reviews and rarely retract them, that doesn't make them bias against Nintendo, it just makes them bad journalist.
Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

Reading your post gave me a headache as I fear you know nothing about which you speak but this is like the fourth or fifth time you've said similar things and I don't really feel like pointing the obvious out again.
Basically, if you don't get it, then why comment on it? You obviously don't know what makes NSMB Wii what it is, I wouldn't expect you to by now, but if you don't get it why downplay those that do and get upset at "journalists" like Daemon Hatfield... plus if you haven't seen those articles you must have been under a rock, they've been brought up time and time again... hell IGNs own Nintendo base flat out protested Daemons actions on his podcast and wrote letters to Matt, Mark, and Craig.
The whole 2008 to 2010 release thing was comical

Yes, I'm wrong and your right. Nintendo are perfect, there is no reason to ever post any negative press against them and everyone who does is evil. Greg Miller, Hilary Goldstein, Colin Moriaty and Anthony Gallegos have some weird agenda against Nintendo and they go out of their way to only post negative things about Nintendo. Sony and Microsoft are perfect in their eyes and so they never ever get bad press and all their exclusive games are given extremely high scores.
You haven't pointed out anything that hasn't been pointed out before, you think IGN (like the rest of the Western media) hate Nintendo. Your mind won't be changed and no matter how many arguments are brought up, you'll just ignore it or just laugh it off.
Stop being immature and just accept that IGN treats the Wii as well or as bad as it does the other consoles and maybe try and get off the 'World against the Wii' bandwagon.

*chuckles* Cause I totally stated all those things ^^
I never said IGN was baised against Wii I said they made many points against Wii that was unfounded. And well the guys that gave lots of these games a fair shake and cared about proper journalism are all now gone, at the same time the "journalist" (IE Daemon Hatfield) is now the head editor of IGN, why is that? Why was he not reprimanded for his childish actions in the past? Why was he fucking promoted over better journalists at IGN? And head editors have a lot of influence over the overall slant of media produced by a publication...
So do I think the western world is against Wii? Hell if I know what's going on in their heads, what I do know is that most pulbications are shit, especially this generation, but it's very easy to see why if you keep up on any of the buzz.

So I guess we are in agreement then. IGN don't hate Nintendo, they are just a shitty site.
That was easy.

I like reading Ninty fans breakdown sometimes. What the hell are these unfounded points that they make, just outta curiosity. Cause their are things they should complain about and they dont.

Well like I said before I don't know what goes on in the heads of these idiot "journalists" but people do have foundation to believe what they want to believe about IGN. When you have editors make unfounded claims on Nintendo systems and games it's obvious they're not caring about their journalistic integrity, they're obviously not trying to "help" Nintendo by pointing out something "wrong", they're going *whine* Splosion Man had more work put into it than NSMB Wii!
When objective players that play both know NSMB Wii has better level design and the multiplayer design is a mode to fuck over your friends rather than try to get through a tough spot. NSMB Wii was specifically designed for 1 player platforming, with co-op added as a for fun mode, Splosion Man was a singleplayer game with specific (and completely separate) multiplayer levels that doesn't allow you to fuck over people you play with IE pick them up and throw them into a pit for example or bounce off their heads.
If the editorials were thought out really well it would be different. Nintendo needs to fix their online system in the future, this would be reasonable and well thought out, friend codes suck, games requiring seperate friendcodes SUCK, the Wii would likely need a lot more room in the hardware to change the online system to something like a PSN system, so this would mean new hardware and old hardware couldn't update to have these features, this alienates early adopters and the system in place actually does work, just not efficient, but in the future... IE 3DS... they DID address this!
Thing is there is no editorials on issues like that but rather calling Nintendo lazy for having a slow release period. Really guys? A company that has fewer internal developers than a company like Sony, has put out the best selling and rated games this gen, and is stretched across two platforms and at the time working on new platforms (3DS). Yes they're so lazy
But where was the editorials calling other companies lazy? Sony when it took till 2008 for less sporatic and quality releases on both PS3 and PSP, or Microsoft only having one platform to worry about and not having a lot of first party titles yet closes down one of their best studios when they don't have a lot of developers to begin with.
Does that make them biased against Nintendo? *shrug* Does that make it suspicious? Sure I'd say it's safe to think there are some issues there, especially when these editorials are not going through some checks.
Honestly I feel a lot of the issues with journalism lately has been publications aren't adapting at all, I've discussed this before but essentially it's the same conflict from SNES to PS1 era. Pro Nintendo journalists attacked PS1 titles without a lot of basis and died out in the process, now we have journalists that grew up on PS1/PS2 and enjoying the ideals those systems brought in but now tides are changing agai. PS3 and 360 which support the ideals of the PS1/2 era are being hyped like crazy and rated so highly, and these same reviewers are rather confused as to how to rate and rank these new ideals. It's not in line with there's and as such they rate things lower and lash out a bit, they'll either adapt or die out like the last time.
