It is natural that this site would draw fanboys for consoles to it, because it seems the ONLY scoreboard in the area of videogames are metacritic and sales numbers.  With the fanboy, or partisan (if you want to be more polite), is the need to persuade the world to their console of choice.  In this, I see a number of posts that look like this.  Like, I see shots at the 3DS as "being disappointing", which wasn't an opinion of the person posting directly, but some article someone write.  And then there is need to refer to HipHop Gamer.  In the most recent round, Conduit 2 is supposed to make PS3 and 360 fans of FPS regret it is a Wii exclusive.  Factor also in the use of Pachter to make this point or that.

All and all, it doesn't look like an attempt to discuss games, BUT rather, a piece meant to persuade people to buy one console (and its games) or another.  Do individuals actually seriously think they will persuade one way or another ON HERE, by posting such things?

All and all, looks more like Don Quixote going after windmills to me.  But hey, maybe I am wrong here.

i have a feeling that a good 70% of this sites posters aren't aware of who Don Quixote is and a possible 10-20% don't know what a windmill is.

OT - i agree, we should all continue the good fight of raging against rival consoles.  i may not be able to convince jarrod that the wii's low production costs are less important than the ps3's amazing graphics but every day there are new recuits to be drafted into the great war.  i do it for them, i do this for them...
