If I was thinking of games on Nintendo platforms that Sony & Microsoft might be casting an envious eye over, it most certainly would not involve anything produced by HVS...

I am a huge Ninty fan but that statement is ridiculous. Conduit 1 was a pretty good game for the 90's. By todays standards its not good by any measure.

Prediction: Regardless of how well C2 is received critically, it will sell less due mostly in part to the first game being recieved so poorly.

Fool me once shame on me.....

Possible, I know a couple of HD console only owners still crying about a few Wii exclusives like RS2, Epic Mickey, TvC, Muramasa, MH:Tri, etc and still praying it comes to their console.  C'mon just buy a Wii if they want those games so badly?   It's cheap and even cheaper used!!!

Um, improving a poorly recieved game has made better selling games in the past (perhaps the most extreme example being Street Fighter II). And if you are using Red Steel as your precedent, you are forgetting that game took away features, especially multiplayer, while this game only adds features.



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

^^^^all those games you mentioned were much better than Conduit1, which is why its highly unlikely any HD fan is looking for Conduit 2. Not with Crysis, COD, KZ, Halo... you get the point

Well as I mentioned, we can't base this game just on the first one. At least not act as though it's certain.

@lordtheknight  thats very true, but lets be real here, thats exactly what some people might do. That was a contributing factor as to why RS2 did so poorly compared to part 1. Im not judging it off the 1st one, as an HD owner its hard for me to get excited for a new HD FPS, so do you honestly think that im gonna be pumped for a WII one?? 2 might be a vast improvement over 1, but there is nothing, IMO and  i mean nothing in Conduit2 that i have seen that already hasnt been done on HDs and done better.
