Lair was at $19.99
at best buy.
People were buying it.

^maybe the people that were intersted from the beginning decided to get it now to check why it turned out bad
from what I have understand so far
there are many things animated on the screen, many units, many explosions, many effects
but the frame rate is poor and the textures are bad ...
Time to Work !
Played it on my mates PS3 on after a lads night out in London..
The booze may have played its part but most of us were rolling about laughing at how hard it was to control the dragon....
A shame really as the game is jaw droppingly gorgeous but it really is broken from the ground up as regards the controls.
That said if you can get it on the cheap pick it up. Just for the comedy factor...

The fact that a heavily hyped game that is not yet four months old has already been marked down to one-third of its original price should be telling enough.

Hates Nomura. Tagged: GooseGaws - <--- Has better taste in games than you. |
Buy it for 19.99 But not for sixty. Having played through thirty mins of the game, the controls are absolutely horrid and unresponsive. But for twenty dollars, it's a visual feast.
its not that horrible,it absolutley did not stand up to hype....but not that bad of a game as a whole....just give it an hour or so on the controls and its ok.....overall its about a 7/10.....wait for a pricecut i say
Just (O_O) to all these opinions on the game.
I'll still going to purchase this game though. It looks really appealing to me and I believe its worth my time. I am going to try and eliminate all those wrinkles and kinks in the game as much as possible. The controls I heard, are awful but I'm going to give the game a spin though.
Right after I finish playing Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank and Unreal Tournament 3.
I guess the best suggestion would be to not let your expectations get that high with it. Once I started seeing reviews and such, I lowered my expectations and I thought it was actually a little better than what reviewers described it to be.
