'definite redesign'

Why is a re-design guaranteed anyway?

At any rate, I agree with the review...mostly. I wouldn't say its too bulky, nor would I say it has short battery life, but I shall see that for myself

I'm getting one over here for £200, seems about fair to me

That would be like saying that the Ps4 isn't going to get a slim version. We all know it is lol, just like the 3DS is going to get a revision. It always happens.

Whatever way you twist it, the battery life is plain awful and should be noted by reviewers.

The rest of the scores are far more subjective so I can't comment as I haven't tried the 3DS yet.

"topping out for us at three hours and fifteen minutes with WiFi enabled."

"Disabling WiFi added about another half hour"

@cyberninja45  but you still have to be in a perfect condition in either case. if your in a plane or car and hit turbulence or a speed bump your going to lose that effect

If someone were to pass infront of u while u watch tv. u lose the 'effect' of the tv also.

I've never understood the point of giving hardware a score. At least when it's new hardware that represents a new generation and not a revision of existing hardware.

I mean, if the console goes on to have the best/worst/most average library of all time, then that's going to massively impact the appeal of the system which would in theory massively change any score it might get on day 1.

Still, the content of these reviews is always useful, we need to know about how things work, etc, etc.

But it is still much better than most laptops.  Normal laptops only last around 2 hours. And gaming laptops can't even last 1 hour without recharging. Of course, netbooks last much longer but those are very low-tech compared to even laptops.

That still doesn't make it good.
