Build quality score is such BS it's not even funny.  Being someone that has actually played the system it's a higher build quality of the DS lite and the DS Lite was one of the best revisions to a Nintendo handheld ever.

Clicky shoulder buttons have always been there since DS Phat - fact he stated being wrong *check*

Longevity I'm really iffy about since this is the first and only report I've heard of "two and a half" hours of battery life, since that would but it at as low as the original PSP.  All reports I've read has it at three and a half to seven hours depending on what you're playing and if you turn features off.

And yeah counting off because there's going to be a handheld revision is a joke.

I can agree on the price being a bit much for a handheld but it's in line with the revisions to the DS and the same price as the launch PSP, but my limit for a handheld is 200 I stick to that, but I'm going a bit out of my way for a 3DS simply because it has a lot of things I want.

Bottom line is this review has bad examples, I don't think was properly tested when multiple credible sources say something else and in line with each other, and it's like the guy never played an original DS since he made a point to talk about the "clicky" shoulder buttons but the DS has always had them...

Eh IGN does a piss poor job at reviewing ever since their only good reviewers Matt, Mark, and Craig left.

Well IGN is a joke site anyways, they are as much as gamer site as they are anything else site these days. If you ever looked at traffic results for IGN, they have greatly declined. Opinions based by them have been greatly being ingored by majority of gaming audience, until they do attention whore BS such as this.

Personally I love users, who don't know anything about the PSP battery life, or the DSi Battery life on highest settings. (HINT: They were at the same level)

Yeaaaaah which was my point exactly, I play my PSP fine, sure some days I do wish it had a little more juice, but rarely do I go to any place that doesn't have a plug I can use, people also act like they're going to have wifi enabled in places there won't be a plug (HINT: You won't) cause if there isn't sockets to plug in your handheld there more than likely isn't a wireless router around.

That link posts pretty accurate numbers on the PSP battery life 3 - 6 hours without Wifi and 2 - 2.5 with Wifi, the 6 end is of course non graphics intensive games that don't have to load a lot like Lumines.  Mind you those numbers are still less than the numbers even IGN reports for the 3DS, which aren't reflective of other sources claiming 3.5 with wifi to a little over 7 with everything turned low/off.

But yeah IGN is becoming less and less relevant to gamers and gaming in general.  Reviewers know they're struggling cause they're not catering to todays gamers, it's the same problems reviewers had going from SNES to PS1 plus the internet boom around the same time, different gamers, different games, many shake ups, many publications died, while other no names *cough*IGN/N64.com*cough* became the new kids on the block with trusted reviews and a great staff.

Essentially these sites have two options, adapt or die, most are picking die or trying the safe route with supporting the "hardcore gamer" group and not pissing those gamers off because they're pleasing the casual market with Kinect, I really don't see it working out quite like they hope.
