i don't mind them, but I do agree with you that their should be a way to turn them off since it seems like a decent amount of people wish they could disble them

I rarely go after trophies. i beat the campaign, beat the game, play online, stop playing. Never really care about going after a trophy for several mile kill, destroy 50 people in 30 seconds, and insane trophies like that (those aren't real trophies listed, made them up.)

i am also more of a single player gamer, but i disagree with you that all trophies should be single player.  if you do that, then theres gonna be people who cry that theres no multiplayer trophies.  however, they should make is so the multiplayer trophies are not needed to get a platinum.  in my opinion, i think thats the best middle ground.
