I'd go Wii. PS3 has nothing you can't already play on your 360.

With Wii you can play Mario Galaxy, Metroid 3, Zelda TP, Zack & Wiki, RE4:Wii, Paper Mario, RE:UC

and will play in the near future:

Smash Bros Brawl, Mario Kart, Fragile, FFCC, Tales of Symphonia2, Fatal Frame 4, Spore,

(all the above are (console) exclusive for Wii)

With Wii60 you'll (probably) miss out on:
Metal Gear Solid 4, Gran Turismo 5, FF main series, Uncharted, Ratchet & Clank

But very good substitutes:
Splinter Cell 5 (360), Forza 2(360), Lost Odyssee (360), Metroid (Wii), Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)

Dude, they said $500 towards the purchase of your choice, right? Can't you just say "give me the $500 and I'll buy the system myself" or something? Or are they saying that's the cap on your choice?

If that's the cap on your choice, go for the PS3, the Wii is harder to find right now, but that's not going to last forever. Little Big Planet, FFXIII and MGS4 are supposed to be coming out soon. Then again, Smash Bros Brawl is coming out this february.

Still, don't go and buy a system you already have.

Actually, looking back over the rules, go for the Wii, but see if you can get them to preorder Smash Bros Brawl as part of it. If not, see if you are allowed a waiting period so that has a chance to be released before you actually claim your prize.

I forgot that you could get a system AND games.

My view is go for Wii, Wii Play, Nunchuck, Smash Bros Brawl, Twilight Princess and then if you have money left over after that, grab Metroid Prime 3, Resident Evil Wii Edition, Super Mario Galaxy, and/or Zack and Wiki. Also, see if they'll cover Virtual Console titles if you get teh Wii.

After carefully contemplating your situation. I've come to the conclusion that your best course of action would be to acknowledge that Bod is a guy.

you already have a 360, don't blow your winnings by just getting the elite, thats rubbish. also you already have what is basically ps3 but with better games (its called the xbox 360) so unless you cannot live without mgs4 and final fantasy XIII and don't mind waiting a year or two for ff13 i'd say go with a wii and some games and controllers

How exactly will claiming your price work? For instance, if you were to pick the Wii, would they say "Alright, here it is!" or would they say "oh... You may need to wait a few months so we can actually find one of those damn things?"
