anyways it does have an HDD right? , because without an HDD , you can't install games.

It is called supercharged because it comes with a few accessories, a new skin, and an upgraded hard drive(500gb)

that's probably why they gave it that name, it's all marketing. 

the only part i'm confused on is the tone of this article...is this a response article cause it sounds like it?  did someone accuse gamestop of doing something illegal cause the facts as presented here clearly are not illegal.  really its not different then when BB or whatever bundle a few accessories with your purchase other than the ps3 is refurbished.

It's pretty obvious it's just a refurbished PS3 with a larger HDD and cables.

Yea i know the ps3 does. That why i thought it was good, either a new ps3 or this you are covered the same. I mainly thought it was a good deal cause I dont know the price of a ps3. Last I looked into them they were still pretty expensive. That and the second controller. The other stuff does just seem like fluff.

It doesn't seem to come with 2 controllers. Either way its at 300$ usd for a new 160gb with a free game controller..if you were to get a deal. I suggest this one

Buy a PS3 from Sony for $300 with no shipping. You get an extra DS3 and choice of older game for free.

Then go here and buy this for $99:

Buy that 500GB 7200RPM HDD (faster than the piece of shit 5400RPM drive from GameStop) with an EXTRA 4GB of flash storage. Those drives take the average computer and decrease the boot time from ~40 seconds to less than 20 seconds with that hybrid flash/HDD combo.

Then your PS3 would actually be "supercharged", unlike that stupid GameStop horseshit. You'd see huge improvements in load times with that drive, not only from the 4GB of flash storage but from the 50% faster 7200RPM drive.
