Also, where do you guys import your games? I was looking at the new PSP Super Robot wars that's coming out... and it's like 80 bucks to import!

After seeing your second post, I finally understood what you were talking about. Yakuza 4 was recently released in the US; it's subbed though. The sites I use to import are Play-asia and CDJapan.
I've seen Torillian playing Y4; hopefully he's the one who reviews this. I wouldn't mind Naz reviewing it too.

Naz is too poor for two games in one month so yer right I'll be reviewing Yakuza 4. Going to take me a bit though, seems to be fairly long and I only got it at release day I'm afraid.

It's not that long if you stop messing around with those hostess!
But I'm guilty of that; I've spent 14 hours, and I'm still in Part I. I should really just go through the story and do the optional stuff in NG premium adventure.

Actually I didn't mess around with the hostesses too much because I just didn't really get how to make them look one way or another. Apparently my taste in makeup is trashy.
I did get wrapped up in a later sidequest where you train some members of a dojo in how to fight, probably spent 2 hours just messing around there until I got off my ass and got back to doing the main quest. That and the batting cages have been my main distractions.
I assumed there was a way for me to go back and do the sidequests I skipped the first time around, glad to hear that confirmed. Can you switch between main characters in that mode or are you just going through the main story again?

There are two modes you can select once you finish the game. In Premium Adventure mode, it allows you to freely roam the city and do anything you missed like side-quests, and the experience, money, items, etc get transferred. You can select any character you want to play as.
There's also New Game premium where you go through the main story again, but with the experience/money transferred. You have to redo the sidequests you previously done though.
As for hostesses, I was talking about the hostess clubs - chatting with them and trying to woo them. I blew all my money there.

oh that's good to hear, I really want to finish that dojo sidequest but redoing what I've already done would kind of suck.
I haven't played around with hostess clubs at all, guess I'm just as cheap in video games as I am in real life.

Premium adventure mode remembers all the side-quests you done, so you won't have to redo them. All your progress like mini-games stats, subquests, moveset, etc are saved. In new game mode, some of those things are reset.
i think, yakuza 4 is a must-have-game for story,gameplay-gamer and shenmue-fans. : )
