Forums - General - Talk about the area in which you live.

I live in okc. It's a boring state. It's been called the bible belt. There's pratically a church on every block. OKC is a real conservative state. They always vote republican most of the time. OKC stole an NBA team from seattle. The NBA team is the thunder. OKC is big on it's college football team, the sooner's. Braum's is a good ice cream/fastfood place, that's only in OKC. Sonic is only in OKC,but it's a drive in fast food place that mostly sucks. OKC is in;what we call tornado alley, but tornado's rarely occur in the city. So in conclussion,I live in a boring, conservative state, that has a couple things interesting about it.

what,I'm not the only that hates were I live. hehehe.

My area, huh? Well, there are... some farms... a lot of trees... The closest city is 20 minutes away and it consists of like 10 houses centered around a food lion... Then some more farms...

Sig thanks to Saber! :D

Smallish town on the outskirts of a very big city.

Mainly older people who live here though there is a problem with youth crime.

Kill 'em all, I say.

I live in the worst city and saddest city in the United States. The crime rate is of the charts over here . I think you may have heard of a little town called stockton. Look it up.

The Dallas/Fort Worth  Metroplex (Texas), specifically Lewisville.

When someone says they live in DFW, Dallas, of the Dallas Metroplex they could live in any one of 20 large cities in North Texas.  It's really an awesome area.  Even though it's gigantic, everything is 20 minutes away, maybe 30.  It's like some geographical oddity in that I can be at the far end of the Metroplex and want to go to the next city over or the complete other side, it's still a 20 minute drive.  It would be annoying if it weren't so odd.  Anyways, depending on what city you go to there's a lot to do.  Dallas has all the bars.  Fort Worth has all the cool stuff.  Addison has the restaurants.  Plano has the upscale places.  Etc.

Lewisville, where I live, kind of sucks.  It's where you go for Mexican food restaurants.

Don't be too down my good Sir, I see that you have Killzone 3, there's a fantastic reason to be happy!

I live in Las Vegas. Its a desert ( not just literally, its a cultural desert).  There are plenty of dumb people around, and it will get worse since our higher education budget will be cut. At least I'll be safe in case of a nuclear Fallout.

I live in Christchurch, New Zealand. Beautiful city (known in NZ as 'The Garden City') but really a bit fucked up at the moment because of the earthquake. So yeah, usually it's a vibrant place but at the moment it's really rather depressing.

i live in Melbourne, its bascially the australian city that has the most things happening, and also the biggestest and best sporting city in the world. For an population of 4 million we have so many sports. We created our own sport that lead to being national and played world wide. In an competition of 16 major teams 10 are in the one city. And despite being 4 million AFL is the 3rd most attended sport for an country with 20 million. And to ontop of that we have our own basketball and soccer competitions, we host an major grand slam in tennis, we love cycling and swimming and when the afl season is over cricket starts which is an global event. And Melbourne is home to the MCG and statidum that holds 100,000 and is massive. The MCG is also located next to the tennis grandslam area with 2 areanas and has newly built soccer/rugby stadium and an bit further away we have etihad statidum with holds 50,000. Oh and i almost forgot about horse racing and that we host one of the most prestigest horse races The Melbourne Cup which is massive.

So you can say we are sport mad here in Melbourne. We love sport and on an side note we love to bet on it and gamble with Victoria having more problem gamblers per 1000 people than Los Vegas. An we have only one casino.

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong
