The Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex (Texas), specifically Lewisville.
When someone says they live in DFW, Dallas, of the Dallas Metroplex they could live in any one of 20 large cities in North Texas. It's really an awesome area. Even though it's gigantic, everything is 20 minutes away, maybe 30. It's like some geographical oddity in that I can be at the far end of the Metroplex and want to go to the next city over or the complete other side, it's still a 20 minute drive. It would be annoying if it weren't so odd. Anyways, depending on what city you go to there's a lot to do. Dallas has all the bars. Fort Worth has all the cool stuff. Addison has the restaurants. Plano has the upscale places. Etc.
Lewisville, where I live, kind of sucks. It's where you go for Mexican food restaurants.
