I'm from Europe and the major websites are still selling Black Ops at full retail price (€50 ). We recently had some drops but they are now back to full price. Play.com is still selling MW2 at €50 but I recently got it at €21 fro zavvi which has put up the price again.

dam. Btw its Australia i am talking about and with current currency (even when the game got released!) it was being sold at 120 USD which is double for what the US pay, and not all games are 120 and that the cost of collectors/limited editions expect Black ops prestige which is 250 dollar!!!!!!

if you have kz3 then dont get crysis 2.

if your a huge mk fan then get mortal kombat.

if you liked portal get portal 2

but more importantly get infamous 2.

portal 2 only if you have an capable PC because then you can take it value. 

You should also trade in some of your unused games (yes i know once you trade you suddenly want to play them) and get one game, wait until others go down. 

Oh and if you dont have an capable PC then Infamous is the way to go because Crysis is one for the top notch PC gamers. 

also buy games with an friend especially SP games. Just get together an say 30 dollars each for infamous 2. You play it for an week or an few days then your friend plays it for an few days. That means you can buy 2 games for the price of one.

Wait for two months and get three of those games for the price of one. There is no CoD or GT so the price will drop quite quickly.

My advice would be Portal 2 AND inFamous 2

Portal 2 is cheaper than other games in the UK at least, and they are both going to be brilliant games, so you might just have to starve for a bit...

I would also advise getting LA Noire ahead of all of them, but obviously you did not ask for that

Well out of those, I'm putting Mortal Kombat way ahead of the pack:

You said you love the series pretty much, so that's a given, it's also gone back to its roots instead of, for example, the horrible Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe, with a whole bunch of cool features too!

I mean, there's the challenge tower with 300 floors, that's GOT to be fun, from the video they've released of it, it seems to have all sorts of challenges, and random fights such as armless combat (Your arms literally fall off at the beginning of the fight), or the sort of tower defense game where you have to use your projectile attacks to kill oncoming hordes of zombies!

You already have Killzone 3, so no point getting Crysis 2, and it apparently looks and plays terrible on PS3 anyway. (IGN)

Portal 2, atleast here in UK, is pretty cheap anyway, before it's even released! I suspect it either getting a price cut quickly, or people will trade it in after they've got their free Steam copy, meaning you'll find a cheap used copy somewhere, lol.

inFamous 2, well I can't really argue, I loved the first one, the second does look good, but I wouldn't want to be waiting that long to buy a new game (I buy a new game or two, or three, or even four, every 2 weeks just about, lol), besides I reckon by Christmas it'll be cheap (I remember in half a year inFamous was only £15-20 here instead of £40)

Well there you go, my opinions, I'll be getting Mortal Kombat for sure, and I think judging on what you've said, you should too, it might just be a fighting game, but they've packed it with all sorts of features, not to mention on PS3 we get Kratos too! and I think some of the fighters will actually be unlockable, since the Krypt is back, which is fantastic, I hate these games where all the characters are unlocked for you, I want to earn them!
