Forums - Sales - Wii sales of the last 4 weeks don't add up correctly (IMHO).

The Wii is definitely in short supply in Canada and The US. I'm also certain its nearly impossible to find in the UK, but from what I've read, its not difficult to find in mainland Europe or Japan.

I believe that worked their supply chain to maximize sale during december.. things will level out in January when the Wii is a scarce as ever.

I think it is scarce (DS like scarce) in France, and can be found out of stock occasionally in Germany... but elsewhere is it in normal, if not ample stock through Europe.

Nintendo Europe has alwyas bee a weak point for Nintendo, perhaps NOE should have seen this coming and allocated the excess South Europe Wiis to UK, France and Germany.... I don't think there are any differences between models across PAL regions are there? so it could have been done.

Sorry John, I still don't think we are going to see another 3m in the next two weeks. But I won't be surprised if the Nintendo Shipped numbers are @ 20m for the end of FY Q3.
