To begin, this is probably going to be a long post, so I hope you are able to read through the whole thing and get the full idea. I tried splitting it into sections (bolded on left hand side), as it seems to help for interpreting the data. A lot of it is more of a recap of what happened just so people can look again at what seem to be the more significant events, but I also posted some of my thoughts in there for certain parts that still seem suspicious, etc.
DAY 1
To start: dsister’s first post, he said: “Also I will go all game without reading my PM”
First accusation of the game: Wonk questioned the use of the word berry by NotStan, saying it could represent the word “bury”
First FoS: disister against NotStan, with no legitimate reason other than NotStan saying he would change his profile pic to piss off dsister
First HoS: MG against dsister, saying dsister’s early game aggression seemed a little suspicious
Annoying Orange Discussion: NotStan initiated a discussion about annoying orange, which led to NotStan joking about knives, leading to some curiosities about him, including an FoS from Truck and Wonk (who also put out an FoS against ABC as the orange in annoying orange linked to him). Another post by Wonk in what seems an attempt to divert more attention to ABC and NotStan led to MG doing a “double” vote for ABCNotStan. This discussion eventually led to NotStan mentioning how he and ABC killed dsister, half his family, and his cousin pear. BUT!!! NotStan later said: “Nah kidding, pear’s our friend”. Immediately afterwards, radish stated: “I’m pear”. So either this could be an attempt by radish (who we discovered to be mafia) to incriminate NotStan and ABC, or it could have been a massive slip and actually mean they 3 are mafia. I then also put out an FoS against NotStan, as the whole knives fiasco just seemed strange to me. Wonk also made another FoS against radish for him trying to look “innocent”. NotStan then FoS’d Wonk for pointing his finger a lot.
Current FoS: dsister, Truck, Wonk, Baalzamon against NotStan. Wonk against FoS. Wonk against radish. NotStan against Wonk.
Current HoS: MG against dsister
Dsister’s Questions: During dsister’s responses to his questions, he put out a vote for Heph because of his response to #2, saying he lies more as a townie than a mafia. Heph mentioned in response to a question about his answers that he has never had a power role, other than 1 doc, and 1 roleblocker. Final Fan then also put out a vote for Heph, saying he is a liar. ABC then puts out an FoS against dsister for his apparent urge to find a reason to push a day 1 lynch.
How Many Mafia: During dsister’s questions, ABC brings up the question how many mafia there may be. The general consensus seemed to be 3 or 4 mafia members, however, MG seemed to act as if he was really confused, and initially said 5 mafia, then 4 mafia because he thought it was 30% then rounded down. I thought his confusion was rather suspicious, so I threw out a FoS against MG.
Other Notes: During the beginning of the discussion about these questions, Heph posted a reply to radish saying he was pear, and put out a vote for him. During the mafia and dsister questions, NotStan put out an FoS on darth for not yet posting. Heph later went on to quote this FoS and ask why he targeted Darth when there were in fact 4 afks at that point. Hatmoza also made an apparent confession saying it is a big relief that he can post more freely this game, inferring that he isn’t mafia. I thought this was very suspicious, as it just seemed too good to be true, so I put out a vote for him. MG put out another FoS towards dsister for not reading the post he just quoted.
ABC “Information”: radish responded shortly after this saying “Are you one of THE siblings, seeming almost certain that there were siblings. ABC denies it, and radish comes back and also says, “Oh, and I’m not THE other sibling”. This was also a seemingly strong push by ABC for us to view dsister as mafia based on other games. MG also puts out an FoS against ABC for not reading posts correctly.
New FoS: ABC and MG against dsister, Baalzamon against MG, NotStan against darth, MG against ABC.
Votes: Hephaestos against radishead, dsister and FF against Heph, Baalzamon against hatmoza
ABC “Information”: Gnizmo thinks ABC’s crusade against dsister is odd, leading to MG voting for ABC.
Noteworthy: Before any discussion was even brought up about characters matching up with roles, Gnizmo already said his character and role “hardly match up”.
New Votes: MG against ABC
Beginnings of No Lynch: Vette comes out saying there is really just a lack of overall information, which in all reality, there probably is, so he votes No Lynch. He also puts out an FoS for hatmoza, dsister and MG. Some suspicions continue arising on MG’s vote against ABC, but other than that, nothing that seems super important. Hatmoza then votes No Lynch. I then voted No Lynch. NotStan followed with a No Lynch vote. Heph followed with yet another No Lynch vote. ABC voted No Lynch. Darth voted No Lynch. Wonk voted No Lynch. The final No Lynch vote was MG. Once the no lynch bandwagon started, there was really no information that came out.
End of Day 1
So a couple things that really stick out to me when I read through it again:
Wonk seemed super trigger happy with the FoS to begin the game. While I think it is good to question ones posts to try and get an idea of what their goal behind the post was, that doesn’t mean its necessary to put out an FoS for every single suspicious person.
NotStan and ABC’s “Annoying Orange” fiasco still makes me wonder what the whole purpose of that was for. I never noticed how NotStan eventually said pear was his friend, and when radish, who was determined to be a mafia just happened to come out and say he was pear, it makes one wonder.
Also, even though dsister thinks that day 1 lynches are necessary, the way he was going about trying to get a suspect to vote out for a day 1 lynch seemed rather weird. Just because a person plays the game in one way doesn't mean that they are a townie or scum for a specific game.
Other than this, before day 2 information came out, there really just wasn’t much information that one could go off of.
An overview, along with my thoughts on some of the things happening in day 2 will be in next post so it doesn’t get too long. Don't know if this will come tonite though (hopefully the day doesn't end) as I have to write a paper now
