That is a very hard question to answer shortly. He was allied with all the races of Azeroth against the Burning Legion starting with Warcraft 3. The Horde being a part of that would mean he was allied with them yes. However both the Horde and Alliance are good guys from Warcraft 3 on plus or minus some minor factions within them.

So in Warcraft the burning legion was the main common enemy both sides had? That'd mean there's a possibility that players who have horde or alliance characters could be on the side, and the burning legion could be mafia if this theory works.

@prof I do think that "20%" thing is a tad weird, that 2 lynch rule seems like it'd be easier to explain both games

I looked on the WoW wiki and found some guy named kil'jaeden and it says "he also created the lich king"

Guess we got caught in the debate about names, we're not really good at multi-tasking it seems.

About your first link, he does contradict himself. Although I think "Look at it this way. I push a lynch on you people start suspecting me [...]" could be interpreted as "Let's suppose I push a lynch on you..." meaning this whole sentence was just theory.
