I am a vanilla townie called Kel Thuzad...so basically DOCTOR of town DO NOT PROTECT ME AS I HAVE NO SPECIAL POWERS.
All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey
Hmm first game for me with more than one death in a night. I'm not sure how the color codind of the death would work to give clues with those although I think a SK would be more likely than a second faction and it could always be a vigilante. I'm not so sure of all the other roles that can kill but I'd think the two I mention before anything else.
I don't think the driver is as likely a scenario but it is possible. I'm really tired and off to bed so I'll have pleanty more to say tomorrow.
@ Links I'm loving the flavor :D

With the hypothesis of 2 mafia, you roleclaiming is not beneficial to the town.
The mafia A will aim at mafia B (as they can kill them) and power roles, so if they know you're a townie, they are more likely to get them (good for the town in one case, not in the other), but it also means that the doc is just as more likely to heal a mafia than a townie (power or not).
Basically, as a vanilla townie, you should consider yourself cannon fodder and not claim unless requiered.
Moreover, you're likely to get yourself lynched for this... look at the reactions to Hat's "claim" yesterday, they were not positive.

Could somebody explain to me what the Town Watcher role is? It's not on the wikipedia list of roles that I can see.
Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

I'd like to know that too, but I think it's just a normal role without any significant powers. So just an ordinary townie with a title. So pretty much like the Queen in England
Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

A Watcher is someone who picks someone to watch at night and sees if someone "visited" that person. So say Final-Fan had picked to watch radish last night, he would have spotted whoever killed him (had he not died of course).
It's kinda the inverse of the Tracker role who picks someone to follow and knows what that person did at night.

Now on to the aftermath of last night. It's been a while since we had two deaths in a night.
Two options have been brought forward by other players:
- Two Mafia factions: I'm not inclined to believe this one because of the size of the game and the fact that theRepublic has helped balanced this game (I'm pretty sure he would have objected to this) and also because I believe radish would have been labelled Mafia A or B in the OP.
- Linkzmax puts all deaths in the same color: I'd put my money on this option. Whether because Linkz has never been in a multi-death game or because he simply decided not to gives us clues as to who killed who.
Going by this, hatmoza's bus driver theory is possible only if a SK/vigilante killed Final-Fan and whoever the Mafia targetted got switched with radish. The more likely event here is that everyone succeeded in killing who they wanted dead. This means radish's death was at the hands of either a vigilante or a serial killer.
In the case of a vigilante, it's kind of an irresponsible move to kill on the first night. It would have to be a new player or Wonk wanting to prove his theory from last game :P
That leaves the serial killer as the most probable option for radish's murder.

Linkzmax said: For most, night was as quiet as they had hoped it would be. On the other hand, some woke up in a cold sweat, paralyzed with fear at the sound of a scuffle somewhere in the room, and unable to do anything about it without risking their own lives. They waited silently, staring wide-eyed into the blackness, hoping to discern anything, but all they could do was wait for morning. ... Finally the buzz of electricity was heard and light quickly filled the room, momentarily blinding those that were already awake. As if on a timer as well, the others awoke from their slumbers shortly afterward. Everyone climbed out from under their table or up from their chairs and gathered once again. A quick count of their circle revealed they numbered two short. It wasn't long before they realized who was missing, and so they split into two groups and rushed to their last known whereabouts. The cosplayer dressed as Magus Medivh was located first, where he was last seen, perched atop a large coat rack. Or at least it seemed that way until closer inspection. What immediately jumped out as strange was the night-vision goggles he was still wearing, surely the lights coming on would've been cause for their removal. Then there was the fact that he wasn't squating, so much as it appeared he was slouched over, yet not able to fall down. Finally someone climbed up next to him, where they discovered his arms were bound to his sides and a coat hanger, which had been affixed to the wall, had cut through his mask and hung him by the neck.
The other group took a bit longer to find the one going as Lady Katrana Prestor, better known as Onyxia. He was last seen sitting near the entrance, enjoying a pear, but was not there when they looked. It wasn't long though before they spotted him leaning against a wall on the other side of the room. They rushed over and were quick to demand answers as to how and why he moved during the night or why he didn't join them early in the morning. He merely stared out at them with cold eyes. The group were not willing to tolerate this behavior, so they moved closer until one of them shook the cosplayer. That's when his head rolled off his neck and landed on the ground with a muted thud.
The groups joined back up to discuss what they learned and deide what to do for the day. With 14 alive, it would take 8 of them to decide who would be revealed for what they really are. * Day Two Start * |
Here's my theory, although, I think it's a little improbable.
I think FF was either killed by the SK or by some trap-mafia-role. Read his flavor. Bound at the arms and killed with a coathanger in a really disturbing way (so that he still looked alive). That sounds like SK to me.
I believe radish was sent out for the night-kill and something got him. A bodyguard or something of that nature, I really don't know.
My alternate theory:
vigilante killed radish, and mafia killed ff.
Also, mafia goon suggests a mafia godfather.

playing it safe there ^^
though yes FF kill shows some sadism... but the Radish kill was a clean cut off, showing skill... it might just be flavor
