A lurker is someone that doesn't participate much. By either not posting at all or posting random nonsense that has nothing to do with the game(<called active lurking)

I figured thats what it meant.

In that case, I'm not totally sure of why somebody would want to have that strategy, and while it doesn't at all indicate with 100% certainty that the person is mafia, it is defiantly worthy of suspicion.

Unless somebody really slips up, it seems like its too much of a risk to me, but that isn't to say some FoS and votes can't be cast for certain reasons.

Under any circumstance? Yes, there will always be certain situations where lying may be the most effective method that can be used, however, one needs to be careful as it could be detrimental towards their team, despite their thinking it was going to be effective.

A lurker is someone who doesn't post very often and usually when he posts doesn't say much that hasn't already been said or just filler that doesn't have much to it at all.  He is usually hard to get a read on because of few posts and even fewer opinions. Often times it is scum who doesn't know what to say and it trying to say little to incriminate himself although there have been pleanty of times where he's just someone who is busy.

I'm sure someone can give you a link to a better definition.

So what you are saying is,  you didnt need someone elses opinion to aid your vote it just was nice seeing someone sharing your opinion.  But instead of voting earlier to break your boredom, you decided to wait for no apparant reason?

On one hand, I kind of agree some things are over analyzed, but the goal may not always be just to let others know somebody could be good or bad.


There are always several goals. There is trying to get people to see what you notice and there is trying to control how people see you.

Don't take it personal, if I were to wager, I'd say I'm pretty sure Darth is scum based on nothing but a gut feeling.
