see kids, that's what happens when you don't wait for 2 hours after you cleaned it in the dishwasher
“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

I wish I had pictures, its hilarious! It wasn't just water though, the liquid is sticky as fuck. I had to wash my hands after touching it. (yeah I know that sounds weird...)

The console overheat - i'm guessing that stuff that came out was thermal paste, which is deigned to prevent components (i think the CPU) from overheating.
makes sense that it would stop working afterwards, it gets too hot too quickly so it can't startup.
however this dosent identify why it happened. i'm guessing you were playing for a very long time - or its just shoddy workmanship - probabily both.

I really have no idea why the liquid came out of it but I checked online and the E68 error (which is what came up on the screen) has to do with the hard drive. I pulled out my hard drive and turned on the system and it worked like the day I got it, but then I put the hard drive back in and started it up and got the error message again. So if I wanted to I could play without a hard drive in but that's pointless since its still under warranty and I can just send it in.
I can't really say I was playing it a ton though. I did play it a lot but no more than usual. And the day it broke I'd only been playing it for like 20 minutes.

Weird i would've thought that your 360 would have gotten a E69 error from that...

I'm pretty sure its thermal paste. i'm guessing the console got so hot the paste leaked out. that would explain why it was sticky, because its meant to stick to the chip it protects. when the paste is gone, the chip is more suseptable to overheating - so it does.
and its probabily not just that, if the consoles not well ventalated, or next to a radiator, etc. who knows, they'll probabily tell you when you get it fixed.
dont know about the hard drive thing, but its dumb because you cant do anything useful without the HDD.
