I have pondered this for some time now about Spaceship shooters.

why is it that Spaceship shooters sell well in Japan but not West? when they have awesome re-playability, Music and and the Gameplay is very definition Awesomeness.

different tastes. Western gamers dont enjoy that type of gaming but thats sterotypical because there are western gamers that like spaceship shooters. 

WHich is wierd if you think about how big Atari was at one time. TO be honest, I wish we had more of them. Doenst have to be exactly a space shooter, but games like Sin and Punishment really brought me hours and hours of joy along with my friends. Sales where so bad I doubt Ninty has Treasure make another for a long time.=/

Sorry yes.

It is kinda wierd. USA used to love them in the arcade and on the Atari/NES. Do you have a Wii? if so WiiWare has a decent amount such as Gradius Rebirth and VC has some older ones if you are looking to play some. Sin and Punishment isnt exactly a Shump, but it is full of the arcade feel and is pretty cheap to ppick up now.
