@Slimebeast. Well cruelty to animals is an indicator of psychopathy.

It would be if she did this more than once...

Yes but this was an act in anger and frustration. Impulse driven act, not true cruelty.

I've hit a girlfriend and my brother in anger and I'm not a psychopath as far as I know (well maybe a little bit).

lol does anyone here seriously believe she will be sent to jail?

She will get a $100 fine at most.

This is the most likely escenario. The actual punishment will come from the parents.

She's 19, the punishment from the law will be as a full adult.

I missed that, but still, the chances that she goes to jail are slim.

"The hamster died from blunt force trauma, liver damage and a brain hemorrhage, he said."

HAHA! Did they actually do an autopsy on the hamster?

Two years seems harsh. Its just a friggin hamster. Perhaps forcing her to pay fines and possibly take some anger management classes would be better for society. We don't need another person in prison for a friggin hamster.

Btw, how did the meat end up in your hamburger? Think about that for a while.

Do you seriously not see a difference?

Farm animals (at least here) have to be killed in a humane way by law. Choking them to death certainly would not cut it.

I expect community service for this chick. Plus hopefully some psychiatrist or something.

A hamster is a small and fragile animal. An adult person could probably strangle it in 10 seconds.

I really couldn't say, having never choked a hamster. But it still is inhumane and seems to indicate a messed up person to me.

I won't argue with you because I am just glad that you feel that way. I wish many more people would too.
