Lets not forget Singstar for the PS3. It is not a huge title, but will sell at least 100k week one. Based on the line-ups I would have to say IMO PS3, however, Wii will do the best due to the highly over rated Smash Bros. game. 360 looks to have a toughf road ahead of it. Third party games will be selling PS3 a lot more thn 360 in non US teritorys. DMC4 will be a huge boost for PS3 while I would not be surprised to see 360 numbers drop the week it launches in Japan. 360 will have NFL street on it side in the US, but its big exclusive (Lost Odessy) does not have a lot of steam. Haze I think will do very well for Sony, Ubi, and the PS3 it is the only big exclusive Sony has in that time frame. From what I can gather a lot of people are looking to see how this gameis recieved by press, and it it can pull off a good 9, then some neat marketing should be able to move units in the US, and especially EU since that is were Free Radical is located.

SingStar was in February but recently moved to April on the GameStop site.

The question was who has the best start. Obviously some posters in this thread are working off some twisted curve scale. One or two strong titles do not offset a heaping helping of shovel ware or delayed ports. I actually think the Wii falls third in line. Two rock solid titles do not cover enough territory to offset a whole lot of crap, or extremely niche titles.

The 360 and the PS3 share half a dozen solid titles. That cover enough variety to satisfy most. Further more the 360 has a few more decent exclusive titles beyond that. There is a greater volume of highly anticipated, and highly rated games on both the 360 and the PS3. Finally the selection is much more diverse. For all the talk about Smash Brothers if someone doesn't like fighting games what do they have left.

1. 360 more solid titles, greater variation, significant exclusives, strong volume.
2. PS3 half a dozen solid titles, great variation, a notable exclusive, small volume.
3. Wii a few strong titles, niche variation, hand me a shovel, little kid games.
 I agree with everything.

Wii has the highest sellers obviously, SSBB and Wii fit will probably out sell any other title up there.

Wii also has the most random variety. They are the only console with Farming, Fishing and Car Pimping games all coming out first two months. You just can't get that kind of variety on an HD console.

I highly doubt haze is more than a time exclu..... it's ubisoft which is not known to do exclu with no reasons... and trust me if sony had put the money for it we would know it... and they have been no such statement.. only that they just develope for PS3 now and that they are not confirmed on PC and 360... but that smells the time exclu contract at 300 miles away....

now I didn't know condemened 2 was on PS3 and coming out so soon.. I can't wait for that game and I hope you guys will enjoy that awesome game on PS3...

Dark Messiah of Might & Magic will be interesting.

Is it more of the traditional M&M game, or more action-y?

isn't it supose to be a kind of medieval FPS ?? or I'm thinking of another game ??

I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be a "Mcgiever" typue game. Wikipedia seems to agree... like a combination of a ARPG/Trap game like "Trapt" where it's very hard to beat monster in direct confrontation and instead you have to lure them in traps.

GTAIV is the giant of 2008 so because of that I'd say Microsoft is in really good shape especially since they have the exclusive content for the game tied up.

i say wii has the edge with SSBB,NMH and endless ocean also lets not forget wii fit which could also launch early in 08
