And of course GTA IV.

PS3 vs 360 sales

Around the Network

I think the wii, but by the looks of it the PS3 and 360 are gonna catch up pretty well

Ignoring what's actually available to preorder now, Wii Fit, Mario Kart Wii and SSBB are the best first third of a year any console has ever had.

Ubuntu. Linux for human beings.

If you are interested in trying Ubuntu or Linux in general, PM me and I will answer your questions and help you install it if you wish.

In my opinion......

The X360 lineup is definately the most diverse.

Culdcept Saga
Kingdom Under Fire: COD
Lost Odyssey
Supreme Commander/World in Conflict/Universe at War
Frontline: Fuels of War
Dark Messiah of Might & Magic

1 ARPG, 3 RTS Games, 1 JRPG, 1 WRPG, 1 FPS for exclusives. The PS3 definately is the worst of the lineup - only Haze is exclusive. There's a huge glut of other FPS games that month, so it seems very unimpressive.

However, the obvious thing to point out is the #1 software winner will be SSBB. However, I think that the X360 has the most 250k+ sellers in NA in January. I can't wait to see how the X360 exclusives do. Culdcept Saga FTW!

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

the only games i'm interested in are: SSBB, no more heros, and maybe endless ocean. Well, kind of haze but i dont have a ps3 and probably never will.

However, those 3 games is more than enough cause I have two games under the tree right now (xmas list: mario galaxy, metroid, RE: umbrella chronicles, geometry wars, mass effect, orange box) and my gf is getting trauma center: new blood. I'm not going to be ready for a new game until past february really.

Around the Network

Hell I have at least 7 games to finish until Feb. whe SSBB comes out.

definately 360 because of Cabela's Monster Bass and Dark Messiah of Might and Magic.

Calm down, just a joke.

For Quality I'd say PS3 and 360 tie. 360 has lost odyssey, ps3 has haze, plus they both have devil may cry 4 and some others they both have.

Wii wins in sales though because everyone with a wii will buy SSBB. But remember just cause you have a wii doesn't mean you have to buy SSBB. I think it will be over-rated, it'll get like a 9.5 rating from most sites.

Then theres no more heroes which i guess wii owners are looking forward to, i wouldn't know anything about it.

wii, 360, and ps3 in that order with wii and 360 pretty much equal

wii just cause of SSBB alone =D
360 has a great lineup, LO is one of my most anticipated games.
Ps3-ehh haze?

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.

Personally I'm most excited about Burnout paradise and Lost Odyssey for the 360(where is Battlefield:Bad Company, I thought that was in Feb?) and Smash Bros., Wii Fit, and No More Heroes for the Wii.

But it's obvious Wii Fit for casuals and Smash Bros. for the hardcore, and Nintendo will again own the universe, as long as they can increase production, will they be increasing the 1.8 million figure soon? they'll be alot of rain checks getting filled in January I wonder if that means it'll be even harder to find in January.

Who has the best quality lineup for January and February?

The competition may have some pretty good stuff, but those three pretty much trump anything else. Add Harvest Moon Wii, Nitrobike, Brothers in Arms, Endless Ocean, and Sonic Riders, and the Wii's got a lineup that will carry it through the spring with continued shortages.

Especially since Mario Kart Wii is expected during the "spring" window, too.
