Forums - Gaming - Behold This Crysis 2: PC Vs. Xbox 360 Side By Side Video Comparison

The PC version definitely looks more vivid and crisp but the 360 version holds its own quite well.

Oh man,  now I am contemplating cancelling my PC Preorder and just skipping until its gets cheap.  I knew that going to the city environments and moving to the consoles would greatly reduce its quality.

Al least it will give me more time to play Minecraft

Do it! Really it will be on sale on Steam for like 75% or more at the end of the year. Get it then like me.

This way you show you support PC development, but hate shit ports! PC main plat!

This! For anyone who planned to play this on PC this is the best course of action.

Yeah, probably gonna do that too. I mean, the PC version looks MASSIVELY superior, but for a PC game from Crytek... I expected a lot more.

Let's get this out of the way right now, the 360 version of the game looks phenomenal! Probably the best looking multiplatform game yet. That said, the differences are pretty significant (it became much more apparent when they moved to the Skyline footage). Lighting, textures, resolution, and post processing all look a good deal better on the PC version.

It doesn't look too good that consoles can't do it though, so I wonder if the 360 (or PS3) would look at least close to the PC version if it was exclusive to either console.

I wouldn't say closer, but marginally better than what it is at least, even if it was something like PC/PS3 or PC/X360, but I really doubt that this game will have any large impact on the PS3 crowd, just doesn't seem like the sort of game they'd be interested in.

no they aren't, you can clearly see that the PC visuals are easily 10 times that of the 360's. But thats also because gaming PCs are stronger then 360s.

Yea. My gaming PC trains for 8 hours a day. My 360 hardly does a few pushups a week.

get your 360 sports active 2 and watch it become stronger and stronger, it will kick your PC's butt in no  time!

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
