Really happy that I can run it on high with no stutters. They really stepped up with this game.

What kind of system are you running? Also how is the combat with a gamepad?

i7 860 2.8Ghz

8GB DDR3

HD Radeon 5850 1GB VRam

Combat is great with the Gamepad. I definitely prefer it over the mouse and keyboard setup. (That's a personal bias though because I kind of suck with that setup)

I was only going to get this if it could be played with a gamepad....I'm somewhat new to PC gaming...is there a certain "good" gamepad to get?  I cant use my PS3 or 360 one can I?

I personally use the X360 PC controller. It works really well. I would use my PS3 controller over it but I don't want to go through the hassle of signing drivers and such. I know you can use it with the program MotionJoy.

May I ask at which resolution are you playing? The reason is that I also have a 5850...

Everything is on High. The only thing I have disabled is motion blur because I just don't like it.

Thanks, but I was asking for the res of your screen. Do you play at 1680*1050 or 1920*1080? Higher? Lower?

This game is insanely gorgeous.

However, I have gameplay issues , compared to the first one. Sheating swords, casting signs, the locking thing.... I have not instantly got my mark compared to TW1.

I play it on high settings @ 1920x1080, I have a i7 950, 6GB of RAM and a Saphire Radeon 5870 1Gb

So I finally finished the game. I actually got a situation with which I am extremely happy, everything seemed to work out well. I have to reapeat, Quen is by far the best thing to happen in this game. I went swordsman, and then put the rest of my points into magic, specifically the two that upgrade Quen to ridiculous levels. By the end i woudl jsut put it up and wade into a group of baddies, just slashing left and right, and if I got hit I lsot no damage and 3 of them got stunned. The AoE sword ability is also absolutely sick. Played it on Hard and I died about 14 times on the very first encounter. After that I only died if I made some weird mistake here or there. Quen!

Chapter 3 was also a huge pain in the ass to navigate and get to wehre you need to. What's sad is that i thought chapter 2 sucked ass in that regard and I didn't think it would get any worse.
