It sounds like you're talking about world 4-1. The secret passage there indeed puts you in front of 2 silver skeletons. But in world 4-2, there's a secret passage in the staircase left of the first Reaper.

The Primeval Demon's are indeed the fat ones, the ones that don't do anything unless you're standing right in front of their face, the ones that only appear at black and pure black world tendency.

So in world 4-2, I think I know roughly where it is. So that's a spot for a secret passage that has a primeval demon behind it and the primeval demon sometimes drops a pure bladestone, correct?

The pure bladestone will be dropped by the black skeleton behind the secret passage. It's a rare drop though, so to bring the large sword of searching is adviced.

Indeed, that sword improves drop rates. I'm not totally sure if it also improves the rate of rare drops though. Anyway, it's a good idea to bring it with you if you have it. You have to equip it though, so equip it to the hand you're not using.

I'd say put the search weapon in your left hand and switch between your main weapon and wand in your right hand. That should work. Be patient though, it CAN take a while

EDIT: You increase your chances of a pure bladestone drop by encountering the black skeleton in pure black world tendency, but you probably figured that out already.

Namco should be in control of the European servers, so it's not likely the NA and EU servers will be shut off at the same time.

Yeah, Im gonna try to make world tendency pure black, but I bet there will be other areas and events I need to keep track of then. I can probably take advantage of pure black world tendency to get more unique stuff than just this pure bladestone.
