My life is like a battleground. By this, I mean there is always an ongoing war between owners of various consoles, and facts can suddenly seem confusing when everyone is questioning them. I've got a friendship-group that I'm trying to convince that the NGP is awesome. The only problem is that I'm outnumbered around 3:1, and I have nothing to back up my points with. You know how hard it is to convince someone who doesn't want to listen, right? That's why I need your help. Below are a list of genuine quotations that I've had to defend myself against in the last week or so - relating both to the games and the sales potential of the NGP. I've managed to hold my ground so far, but it's getting more difficult by the minute. How can I respond to these statements?

"3DS looks much better [graphically] than NGP"

"NGP is for core gamers; like the PSP"

"Hot Shots Golf Next is a minigame"

"The NGP line-up is almost completely made up of ports"

"Rear touchpads are a gimmick, and will fail because it's a new idea"

 

That's all I've got so far, but if I get hit by more, I'll report them here. Thanks for the assistance, comrades.

Apparently they do. But fanboys will be choosy about the information they pay attention to.
