This really, People ether don't want more CoD or a waiting for CoD, a lot of people that buy CoD just buy CoD every year and the rest buy it because they know they friends are so anything that is trying to be like CoD is not going to get a lot of hype.

There is also games like Crysis 2, Killzone 3 and Bulletstorm all of which have a gimmick (that has more pull to people than an "emotional" story) so even gamers that buy game regularly will probably only buy one FPS in a month will be more interested in those games.

Having said that there is a bit of hype arround it's setting and campain but your average mass market CoD player probably wouldn't even play the campain so...

Why, this late in the game, would anyone be interested in a FPS that is "Call of Duty-like"?

As far as the story goes, it is YET ANOTHER, "America is invaded and taken over... oh no!"  Besides larger numbers online than norm, the other hook is the story was written by the person who wrote the story for the movie "Red Dawn" and has the idea that KOREA invading America is both plausible, and of interest to gamers.  Who here has been waiting for a game where Korea invades America?

I have.

I don't really like FPS especially, but I'm interested in this. I think the reason is I lived in Korea for a couple years and kinda got interested in their history, so I wanna see where they will take the story here.

Definitely won't get it at launch, but will sometime after a price goes down.
