From Software are probably the best thing Japan has going on at the moment. Team ICO is the only other studio that can compare.

Tbh, I think I subconsciously view the world as Western, Japanese, and Nintendo. I think it's because I grew up with Nintendo, and back then it was Nintendo and everything else. Now I have defined that everything else, but Nintendo is still Nintendo.

No see cause you need to view the world this way, West, Japan, and the god tier developers IE Blizzard, Valve, and Nintendo lol from now on if you say West or Japan people know not to include god teir, cause gods... exist everywhere at the same time!
