It'll never work IMO, people are too desensitized to violence (at least in video games). And most people who play war games seem to be preteens/teens so they wouldn't get the point of an "emotional war game"

People thought HR would never work. No longer can something be pegged as "not gonna work", because the market is always growing and changing and fresh ideas seem to be coming out strong this gen.

Well yeah I agree HR's success came as a surprise to almost everyone, but I really don't see how an "emotional war game" could work. Like I'm not saying it wouldn't sell well, but I think people would miss the point of it and just play it like any other shooter.

Well, after what Cage said about buttons, it probably wouldn't be a FPS at all. Maybe more like a war decision simulator. Try to shoot the heavy machine gun man, or just stay in cover and survive a little longer. Help the stoopid bully from the squad that is pinned down over there...or just stai in cover and survive a little longer.

Anyway, an emotional war game that would show the horrors of war would be horrible...

That actually could be kinda cool. I like the way you think.

I can definitely see how this could work. Oh man, I hope he pulls it off.

Id be interested to see what this would be like. seems to me like a really good idea and a new take on war games is what the video games industry needs at the moment

Wait... does this mean im not human?

Most people thought Heavy Rain would flop, and it extremely well. Why shouldn't there be a market for this kind of game?

he could do one on world war one and use the christmas truce.

WAsn't he making that Sci Fi game with two lead characters. That sounded very interesting, or was the rumor proven false. Just wondering if thats one of the two projects he's working on.

I didn't like that game. I hope his projects are something else.

An emotional war game would be very very nice.
