Forums - Nintendo - Five Game Gear games coming to 3DS Virtual Console

I haven't checked many PS1 games, but until now every single one I checked was 600 Yen. Maybe multi-disc games cost more?

While I understand your point about that the prices work for people, my personal opinion still is that their price settings are too high. I would by more VC titles if the were cheaper.

Then don't use words like "should" in that context, as it makes it look like passing off personal wants as absolutes.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

I remember one year when we went to vacation and for some reason we stopped by a video store. I saw right then and there a game called Sonic Triple Trouble. The cover was one of the greatest things I've ever seen. Not only do you have Sonic on a surfboard, but you also had Knuckles, Nack the Weasel (some knew him as Fang, but the Archie comics said his name was Nack!), and Robotnick all looking mean and mad.

Man, it looked so cool, but it was for this thing called a Game Gear (what the heck is that?), and I didn't have one. The fates laughed upon me that day, but I would have the last laugh more than 10 years later. The game could be awful for all I know. I don't really care, the game will be mine.

I <3 the 3DS.

In the sentence before I used "I think". It should be pretty clear that this is all just my personal opinion. The use of the word "should" alone in most cases indicates opinion. I don't understand where the problem is.

Then I misread the context. So I withdraw that comment I made.

No problem!

I'd like to know other people's opinions about prices for handheld games. What would you all consider good prices for Gameboy, Game Gear, etc games?

I think 400 points for GB games, 600 for GBC and GG, and 800 for GBA games if/when they arrive sounds good to me

I should add that some of the single disc PS1 games are $10 anyway.

Eh, I still have my Game Gear and Shinobi for that matter (game's fucking hard).

Nintendo, I'm sure, will just overprice the crap out of these games turning off most people.  They need to follow what Microsoft does with it's Deals of the Week, and the sales they often have.  Oh crap, that reminds me, Pac-Man DX is only 5 bucks right now...

LOL.

I still have my copy of Sonic Triple Trouble and columns!
