They might teach hate, they don't preach God Hates the USA or God Hates Muslims or God Hates Soldiers or God Hates Jews and even though its "hated" no priest can really say that God Hates Fags as God is supposed to love all his children even "sinners." 

But the truth is that their (your) religion says that gays will burn in hell. I don't know how anyone can claim a deity that does such a thing "loves" gays (especially considering that what's "right" and what's "wrong" is decided by the whims of this deity).

What does it matter. Does Christianity not claim that it's ther one true religion, and therefore everyone will be subjected to it's rules? Does it not claim that non-Christians will automatically burn in hell?

Yes, but gay pagans don't burn any more than hetero pagans. There's no point in going to homosexual people in particular (unless they are Christian because then you have the obligation to try to correct them).
