Doesn't look like my type of game. Too motion controlly for my liking. Zelda works just fine with a controller, why fuck it up with motion controls?

Damn now i can't remember... which one was Waka? That annoying self-righteous guy who was actually a good guy but you fought him a few times throughout the game? I could imagine a character like that. A new Zant or Angahim, though given this game's place in the timeline, it's unlikely to be manipulated by Ganon/dorf Could very well be a redesigned Vaati, as someone pointed out (or i could be conflating that with other threads i've read, but okay) |
At the risk of getting into a timeline discussion:
1. I don't think there's any real reason to assume that Ganondorf's first chronological appearance was in Ocarina of Time. He tends to be reborn just as much as released from imprisonment, and he could certainly be in this game provided he dies at the end.
2. I don't think there's ever been a game where Link had the Master Sword but didn't fight Ganon.

I'll admit, I wish all of the standard sword slashes were button presses with the bigger moves reserved for the motion controls (ala No More Heroes), but oh well...
I havent been dissapointed with a single Zelda game ever (the CDI thing doesnt count) so I would not expect anything but another masterpiece. The gameplay looks amazing and the art style, I dunno, when I see the trailer I cannot stop thinking that probably thats the way a link to past or links awakening would look on a 3d game... We dont have much information about the game yet though, which it makes me think this E3 is going to be mindblowing. Nintendo is very bold when it comes to Zelda, first WW with its art style and then changing it completely with TP and now kind of a mix of both with SS... Cannt wait!

Something else that I noticed... < please tell me if it's already been discuss, as I haven't read through all the pages > ... is that at about 00:24 - 00:26 of the video there seems to be a small harp symbol on the controller above the fairy girls face. Is that the musical instrument that'll be used throughout the game?

big meh from me but then again I'm a graphics whore so it's not surprising really.
Strange. I like Zelda games and i have been waiting for Wii Zelda to come out before getting one and for some reason it came across as really uninteresting :(

Yeah, I just watched the IGN rewind trailer and I was surprised that they didn't mention it. If it is the instrument you use, then I'm really excited. I can just imagine playing a solo piece with full orchestral music joining in, rather than midi ... Koji Kondo I can't wait to hear what you have in store for us

Yes, it DOES look like Skull Kid, but, it looks as though there's a giant eye behind it looking at you, like a collosus...
Thanks Maxwell!
