Forums - Sony - Sorcery: Full storyline detailed and game features revealed!

Sorcery was announced for the PS3 as a headlining Move software title at E3 2010. Not much has since been revealed on this title, but Sony has pulled back the curtain a bit and revealed the game's story and some of the features in which the title will consist. Set to release in Fall 2011, Sorcery looks to offer the most robust usage of Move and its capabilities. With over a dozen spells to learn, countless puzzles to solve, and potions to brew, Sorcery is looking to be the definitive game to utilize Move to the fullest and to be the first Move-centric hardcore title that PS3 and Move owners have been waiting for.

Find the full storyline and Move usage below.

Plot

PlayStation® brings the world of magic and wizardry to life with Sorcery™, the newest addition to the PlayStation®Move motion controller software line-up.

Time for hype

Don't know why but as I was reading the stuff at the bottom I thought I was reading the key features to a Fable game.

If it is a Fable type game I am going to be excited.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Excited like it's fuck...

The gameplay sounds nice but the story seemed generic not like it matters.

I'm glad it's been pushed to Q3/Q4, what they showed at E3 looked good, but not good enough to great with a spring '11 release. Sounds good so far.

I don't know...

I feel like the game will be rather simplistic. It looks more like a PSN game.

The lack of content will be its biggest problem from what I can tell so far.

But I'm sure it will be fun!

Yes, simplistic, but besides the simple and accessible fun, it can also show a way to integrate Move in more hardcore, or just deeper, games, that's the different, and overlooked by competitors, market Sony would like to exploit almost exclusively.
