How strange!   

It's not up to Sony on whether the ban will go past 10 days or not. It's up to the judge. LG wants all the PS3 destroyed before the 10 days are up. So it won't even matter if that happens. It's not just people with out Ps3 who might get an XBox 360. It's people with a PS3, who might pick one up, especially if they want to play games like Halo Reach, Gears Forza 3 and any other 360 exclusives.

smart move, maybe MS thinks this injuction might get an extention perhaps?

In most of Spanish forums you can read things like that, Sony fanboys are the majority though I honestly think that Xbox Live gaming should be free. Well, anyway Xbox 360 users in Spain don't buy games so at least for them gaming is for free xD

Now if only some company manages to have the Wii seized and banned, MS will conquer another monopoly! Teh hovering walrus will rule teh world! Gamers will have to pay even to breathe! BWAHAHAHAHAHAH!

I cant believe LG got the PS3 banned...even if it is for around a week.

A lot of people do not understand this simple point.  The ban is for 10 days but can and will be extended by LG.  LG will state they want the ban extended and the judge probably will approve.  LG is also in the position to have those confiscated PS3 destroyed if they wanted.  This is serious business and not something to take likely as most people believe this will not impact Sony but it does.  This could also lead to precedent that can be followed in the US as well.

Here in Portugal, Game (online store) seems to be doing the same. Don`t know about other retailers cutting the 50€.
