How could it be Multiplayer reveal when it's a 2 year old secret?

Hey people, do you not realise Atlus saying that they have no plans for Catherine in the West just LAST WEEK and yet this week we find out it's coming?

 

Sucker Punch is simply throwing people off here.

Doubtful, as they claim it's a 2-year-old secret.

That seems more likely to support it rather than disprove it. If they started tinkering with multiplayer two years ago, there is no way in hell they could have had it ready for inFamous' release. Preparing it for inFamous 2 would make a lot of sense, and seeing as it's not Sly 4, multiplayer would be my guess as well.

My guess would be they now are part of SCEA. Sony bought them and just now they are going to announce.

As Porcupine mentioned, multiplayer for inFAMOUS 2 has been mentioned/rumored before, so that wouldn't really be a secret.

That's just a matter of choosing the right wording. It's not like it's been heavily rumored or anything, so it's definitely still secret enough for Sucker Punch to call it a secret. That's my take on it anyway.
