I meant the PS3 will sell more than the 360 NEXT christmas, not pass it in WW sales by next christmas. That will probably happen in August of 2009.

Exactly. The only way PS3 would reach 9 million is if it continued with Christmas level sales.. after Christmas..

Well next week it could manage 650k WW, the week after it will be more like 250-300k, so thats about 8.65million..... so i think even I guessed high: the week ending 5th will be more like 8.8-8.9 million.

No I did not forget. The next week will end on the 22nd, a large increase to about 620k. The next week ending the 29th, which will include 23rd AND CHRISTMAS EVE will still have high sales, around 575K. Leaving 70K for 2/7ths of the next week, which will likely be in the region of 300K.

Boy there have been a million and one of these threads recently and PS3 is not even outselling 360 worldwide on a regular basis. I wonder how many billion threads there would be if it was outselling it on a regular basis let alone outselling Wii
