I heard from Pachter that the 3D screen is hard to make at the moment and thats why there wasn't more units.

I think the low shipment is part of a strategy to build up hype.

isn't 1.5 million planned for march in japan?  so they must be having constnatly shipments being sent out.

I know that is true, suppliers and production for nintendo isn't the greatest, but still I always think Nintendo could do more, when it comes to supply. 


Actually the main problem should have been the 3D screen, and that is made by Sharp, not Nintendo. Plus, I think they wanted to build up hype, with Wii it worked. Just look at the predictions, 4m by end of FY, it's a too little amount to be caused by production problems, they clearly want to sell a good amount of consoles for the whole new FY.

I'm not worried, my 3DS is preordered and will probably arrive at home on D1 :D
