It says that it sold 5m on September 2006 (btw few months before Wii launch). So it sold 5m in 6 years, compared to a bit less than 5 years for the Wii.

Well, 360 was at 300k with major shortages in just a single (albeit massive) region. If data suggested so (which it doesn't in this case since it's undertracked here and overtracked elsewhere), even without shortages, I'd say it's possible for there to only be some 900k on shelves.

No... one thing is that 300k on shelves for the X360 is fucking impossible, I just don't understand why ioi or whoever updates the data still thinks that 300k on shelves in normal with shortages in a single area. Even 300k for the whole EMEAA is almost impossible, so with NA in the bag, that's fucking impossible, 500/600k then okay, but come on 300k... Or if they want to keep their numbers, they have to adjust the PS3, because more than 1.5m on shelves is even more than impossible. But I hope they'll see it with the next quarter results.

I agree with you on that, to be honest. I have a hard time believing it topped 50m, really. Just going by the site's logic, though.

And yes, 100k=plenty of room for undertracking, because that's how much it needs for this. Maybe "plenty of room" isn't the right term...
