This could be a small change, such as making Pokemon a RTS, or a larger change, such as making Final Fantasy an FPS. Would you prefer the game in it's new genre? You could also take games that you think were disappointing and decide if it would have been a better game in a new genre.

Personally, I think that Age of Empires would make an awesome FPS - you can play as different classes, and battle in the fights that your commander tells you to! :P

How about making Animal Crossing a racer? :o It'd be like Mario Kart, but with Animal Crossing characters/power ups :P

I'd put Samus in a 3rd person horror action game in the style of Resident evil 4&5.  Perhaps this is not a huge change, but I think the game would feel quite a bit different. 

I would make a Team Fortress RTS.

I want Uncharted as Point and Click Adventure!

To be specific! i want a Remake of Zak McKracken with Uncharted visuals and charackters!

Drake as Zak, Chloe and  Elena as Annie and Leslie on mars, and Sully as the guy in the pawn shop

A Smash Bros RPG would be a dream come true for me.

Having loads of Nintendo characters in a 40 hour plus turn based JRPG would cause me to run around, scream and piss myself with excitement all at the same time.

I think RTS of the Killzone universe would be interesting if properly executed

Other than making Fire Emblem a fighter alla Soul Calibur and making everything else there is an rpg, I'm ok with what I'm getting.

When I was a kid a dreamt of a Mario RPG and a Mario football game. Both dreams came true (and were amazing).

Ps: I refuse to call football soccer just because a single country in the world gets confused out of it.
