I don't actually get many of the complaints about the story. I find it to be quite interesting (albeit not the best I've seen - but what's there is sufficient and better than MANY of the other stories out there). Still some of the edges are little rough, but with the amount of love and polish that's excruciatingly obvious in this game, I'm happy with the package Guerrilla has provided, as there isn't another console that's given quite this intense, graphically unrivaled, or relentless of an experience!

Given the multiplayer (which is fantastic), Move, 3D, & split-screen, I would give it an excellent 9.3/10!

I'm about there myself. I'm not totally finished yet but I see myself giving it a 9.2 to 9.3

The guns this time are better IMO. The Sniper is so much easier for me to handle. I really sucked with the KZ2 sniper.

My problem with the story is its pretty much non existant, even for a FPS its shallow.  For the first four levels here is the entire plot of the game.  Vissari is dead and now theres two highly powerful guys near the top who don't like each other.  They argue.  Now it flashes to the ISA guys and Rico is tough and a rebel and he don't follow orders.  Him and their field commander argue.  Then back to the two Helghast guys who argue some more, and then back to Rico who doesn't take orders and argues again and then start the next mission.  Its just incredibly shallowly told.  Like I said great setting, great potential, but the actual execution of the story isn't horrible per say as much as it just not there in the first place.

That being said the game is awesome and at this point its looking like a 9.0 to 9.1 to me.

Playing killzone, and I definitely don't get the complaints about the campaign. Its better than KZ2 and anything COD, Halo, Gears or battlefield has ever done. Obviously it doesnt compare to the single player juggernauts out there but its still a sweet ride.

Time for hype

I'm selling my Socom 4 beta code on eBay. I'll never use it and people are paying up to 25 bucks I have seen!

Guess I'll continue to differ, the story is fine to me and the overall package of the campaign is a blast! I encourage any true Sony/PS3 fans to pick this one up, it is that good.

Have you finished the campaign yet? I just started the ice levels. I hope i'm not close to done yet. I like this campaign ; ;

Oh i completly agree for sure.  Every person whose a fan of shooters and incredible graphics should pick this game and the set pieces and stuff are awesome.  I can't wait to see how the end of the game addresses the opening "level".  My biggest beef right now is just the way the story is told, not the story itself.

Also, who thinks Rico is like a good ally / friend this time? I don't hate him anymore.

Rico is the fucking man.

So for all you guys playing...DS3 or Move controller? If Move, what are your thoughts? If you've played with both, what are your thoughts?

I have a 3 day spring break coming up, and thinking about renting KZ3, even if I won't get to finish it (even more anxious to play now that everyone here is loving it). Was thinking about ordering a Navigation controller, too, so I can try out the Move controls. If you're playing with Move, do you recommend it?

Killzone 2 on the hardest mode was pretty easy but im playing killzone 3 on normal first then moving up and so far I'm getting destroyed lol. >_<
