My only siginifcant gripe - the game feels a little easier than KZ2.

Obviously I have not played the entire game yet. But from the level I played in the singleplayer demo I felt the same way about this. I went on playing and after my first playthrough I went again to do it on Elite (which was unlocked when you completed the demo). And I felt it was almost to easy :/.

The last time I played Killzone 2 was already a while ago. Granted the last time I played it, I did the last 2 levels on it on Elite for the platinum trophie. I seriously hope this is the reason it felt easier. Because the difficulty was 1 (of the many) things I liked a lot about KZ2.

May the adjustments be with you

I feel a disturbance in the sales

I just got Bulletstorm in the mail about an hour ago and will post my impressions once I play it.

Thanks for posting fellas, keep 'em coming! At grad school and left all my video game stuff at home, so I was interested in what everyone thought of these games.

Seems like most people are really liking KZ3, and those who bought KZ3 and Bulletstorm, are mainly playing KZ3 first. Bulletstorm seems like it will be a fresh experience compared to the average CoD-esque shooter.

About the difficulty level...I played through KZ2 once  a while ago, but remember having the most difficulty adjusting to the aiming. Don't remember about the difficulty of the game itself. However, when I saw a few videos of KZ3, I made a comment about it looking really easy. People just said it was bc the player had God mode turned on. But it seemed like more than that - like the enemies themselves were really easy, among other things. What exactly do you (CGI) mean by easier?

Straight to the highest difficulty is the best way IMO. Makes the game not only last longer but also makes it funner. ^^

You're (almost always) so right. Killzone 3 is...perfect.

All of this, of course, is just my opinion.

Skyrim 100%'d. Dark Souls 100%'d.
Dark Souls > Skyrim.
Halo 4 is the best damn FPS since Halo 3.
Proud pre-orderer of 2 PS4's and an Xbox One.

Currently Playing: Dark Souls II, South Park
Playstation 4: MGS V GZ, Killzone: Shadow Fall, NBA 2k14.

I'm about to fire it up myself! Can't wait.

Wait wait wait.......KZ3 easier than KZ2?

Oh wow. Sony devs have gone nuts. KZ2 was very easy, even the final boss was like walking in a corridor in Demon's Souls.

They did the same thing with UC2, making the puzzles show hints after 5 seconds of inactivity. I know you could disable them, but its kept like that default.

I think twisted metal might be the only game that might be difficult that's released this year other than Dark Souls of course, lol. DA 2 dumbed down as well, sigh.

I just got home from work and have to get the kids settled before playing Killzone 3 which came in the mail today.

But I forgot that Killzone 3 comes with SOCOM 4 multiplayer beta...which is pretty cool. I am looking forward to trying Socom 4 out. I miss it from the PS2 days...I never bought Socom Confrontation due to reviews slamming it.

U mad? lol

It wasn't? What was difficult about it again?

Resistance 1 was 3 times more difficult.

I thought the last boss was insanely hard in the hardest difficulties. Rockets coming from everywhere, almost impossible.

I never played it on the unlocked difficulty so maybe I am wrong then, I just couldn't imagine it being that much more difficult...But the last boss was fun now that you mention lol, it had checkpoints so it was OK imo. Without checkpoints it would have been difficult, just imagine that, lol.

I think they could have made it a little more difficult in general, not just the boss fights.
